Amis du Lac is proud to support the production of the coffee table book The Deep End/Sous les Seize Iles by Jean-Louis Courteau (JL). Jean-Louis has spent over a decade diving in Seize Iles, capturing thousands of photos that showcase the lake’s vibrant underwater world. This high-quality, hard cover, glossy book features 162 pages of stunning images in an 11 by 8.5 inch format, accompanied by JL’s insightful commentary on the lake and its diverse inhabitants.
The book launch was a resounding success, with many attendees picking up signed copies and enjoying the event. I also had the opportunity to interview Jean-Louis about this year’s algae bloom, providing valuable insights into the lake’s current ecological state.
