Fundraising

Funds for the association are mainly generated from three sources: membership fees, donations and fundraising activities, such as merchandise sales and our annual calendar.

The annual calendar is an idea conceived several years ago by Chris Campbell, whereby community members submit photos to the association for possible selection. Photos submitted are generally of nature scenes around the municipality, including a few cottages, boathouses and wharves. Created, designed and printed by the talented Tim Boswell, the calendars make a great gift for friends and family.

The calendars are generally available for sale at the Friends of the Lake Annual General Meeting held in July and at various association events. If you are interested in submitting pictures for the upcoming calendar they should ideally be around 3300 wide x 2700 pixels high. Please email them to:  [email protected]
